The Flip-Strainer Brand “Pluristrainer” is a separation device (or cell strainer) for a wide range of laboratory applications where the filtration, particle separation and the purification of liquids is required. Its unique design features improved ventilation to avoid clogging for a smart sample preparation. Pluristrainers are stackable to a cascade of strainers. They are flip-strainers and allow flashing back the separated particles. For large sample volumes it can be combined with a funnel. It fits all major brand 50 mL centrifuge . (conical) tubes. The combination with the Connector Ring allows the evacuation of the 50 ml tube-Strainer unit to increase the flow rate. Pressure exchange can be completely blocked. The sample will now stay inside the strainer and can be incubated/treated, including with commonly used cell lysis reagents. This product line cannot be autoclaved!

Membrane filters have a well-defined pore size exclusion limit (available with 1, 3, 5 and 8 um pores), allowing for precise filtration and detection of very small particles. The membranes are non-hygroscopic (optimal for sample recovery), have low non-specific protein binding (reduces sample loss in protein-containing samples), are biologically inert, non-cytotoxic, and have excellent chemical and temperature resistance. The membrane filters can be used for example in biological or gravimetric analysis, cytology, parasitology or in environmental analyzes.
Partec North America Non-Sterile Celltrics Filters, 250/Box
The Sysmex Celltrics Non-Sterile Filters, 250/Box are cell strainers used for filtering cells and debris from samples prior to analysis. They have a mesh size of 35μm and are made of nylon. Each box contains 250 non-sterile filters that are individually packaged. The filters have a diameter of 30mm and fit onto 50mL centrifuge tubes. They can be used for a variety of applications including washing, harvesting and filtering cells and tissue. The filters provide high-throughput filtration to obtain a homogenous sample.

Its unique design features improved ventilation to avoid clogging for a smart sample preparation. pluriStrainer® are stackable to allow direct filtration with different mesh sizes and alsocan be inverted to recover the sieved material. For large sample volumes it can be combined with a funnel. It fits all major brand 50 mL centrifuge (conical) tubes. The combination of the pluriStrainer® and the Connector Ring allow using low pressure which supports the filtration. Furthermore it is possible to block the flow through the sieve and hold back the liquid on top of the mesh.
STEMCELL Technologies 37 µm Reversible Strainer, Large, Size: 37 µm
Reversible strainers are designed for filtration of single cells and isolation of cellular aggregates. They are available in 3 mesh sizes: 37 μm (white), 70 μm (orange), and 100 μm (grey). Single cells and objects smaller than the mesh will pass through the strainer and can be collected; larger aggregates will be trapped on the strainer and can be recovered separately. Strainers can be stacked for more precise size selection. Reversible strainers can be used for harvesting embryoid bodies (EBs) and spheroids from AggreWell™ plates (e.g. Catalog #34811). Other applications include isolation of single cells, e.g. after tissue dissociation or prior to flow cytometry. The small strainers (Catalog #27215/27216/27217) are compatible with 14 - 15 mL conical tubes (e.g. Catalog #38009) and 3 - 5 mL round-bottom tubes (e.g. Catalog #38007); the large strainers (Catalog #27250/27260/27270) are compatible with 50 mL conical tubes (e.g. Catalog #38010).
